8 oz Water Bottle with attaching Stainless Steel Spring
This is a 8 oz Lixit Brand Water Bottle with a stainless steel spring for attaching to the Pak-o-Bird from the outside. The dispensing tube can be inserted through a large grommet on the side of the carrier (see the small picture above showing the discontinued Water Buddy brand water bottle).
The discontinued Water Buddy brand bottle - We first added this feature based on the Water Buddy brand bottle. Unfortunately, the US manufacturer decided to discontinue the design. As the Pak-o-Bird is a travel carrier that will be in motion a lot of time, a traditional water bottle valve may leak as the water pressure changes with motion, we very much like the no drip "bite valve" design the Water Buddy brand offers. There may still be some stock out in the market, you may still be able to search online to find one.
The Lixit® brand bottle - Lixit is a women and employee-owned business specializes in animal water bottle. They are coming out with a new design with similar no drip "bite valve" design. We have seen the prototype and are looking forward to offer this water bottle design. The bottle is expected to be available at the end of this year 2009. Until then, please use the current Lixit bottle which is of very good quality:
