Herewith are some international airlines that do not permit the carriage of pets into the passenger cabins of their planes. Airlines that permit service dogs trained to guide people with disabilities are noted with two asterisks:

Aer Lingus**(No specific requirements on where service dogs must lie or sit.)

Aerolinas Argentinas

Aeromexico** (Service dogs may lie at owner's feet. Are not required to lie on absorbent mat.)

British Airways**(This was the information emailed directly from BA):
Certified Service Dogs travel free of charge in the aircraft cabin on all British Airways services within the UK, with a limit of one per aircraft.
 Seeing eye dogs accompanying blind passengers / hearing dogs accompanying deaf passengers / dogs for disabled passengers or bonafide trainers delivering hearing dogs may be carried free of charge in the cabin on UK domestic flights and flights between USA and Canada.
There is a limit of one dog in the cabin per aircraft. In exceptional circumstances when two passengers travelling together have two guide dogs: They may be carried when booked in the same booking reference.

Dogs are allowed in the cabin:
 1. On journeys wholly within the UK./Inc Jersey/
 2. On German internal services
 3. Flights between UK and Republic of Ireland
 4. Within USA and between USA and Canada where British Airways operate their own service.

Quantas**(Service dogs may lie on an absorbent mat in front of owner's seat or the adjacent seat if it is available.)
