Wow! You have created a wonderful product! I am so happy I found your website. I have two little dogs...a 9 lb Maltese and a 3 1/2 lb Yorkie (she will probably weigh between 5 and 6 lbs when she has finished growing). I have a Sherpa All-in-One backpack carrier for my Maltese. Now I'm looking for a carrier for my Yorkie. I felt she would be too small for the Sherpa backpack because it only comes in size Medium. When I saw all the features for your bags, I was so impressed! Your bags look MUCH better than the Sherpa bag I have.
Which size bag fits Unzhizhi the best? I think my Yorkie will be about her size when she is fully grown. She is short right now at 5 months old (just 6 inches at the shoulder). This information will help me choose the best Celltei bag for her. I would like to get the smallest bag that will be comfortable for her. I think the Small or maybe the Extra Small. Is the Extra Small not available in Classic Black? Does the Extra Small size have backpack straps like the Small does?
Also, are the features of the Classic and Active styles the same? Is the only difference the outer fabric?
I had a couple of thoughts about the problem with the size Medium bags and the snaps coming undone on the side support panels. Since I haven't seen your bags in person, these ideas may not work at all. But I thought I'd tell you anyway, just in case they could help. Instead of using snaps, maybe you could use a turning stud like the one used to hold the half window open on my Sherpa bag (and maybe the same as what you use on your bag to hold the window open).
Maybe they would be too expensive, though. My other thought was perhaps you could include sewn-in fabric channels (or slots) on the inside roof of the bags, so that before you fasten the snaps, you slide the panels through a fabric channel that's sewn to the roof on the inside of the bag. Then the snaps would be EXTRA security to hold the panels in place. Even if the snaps did pop open, the fabric channels (slots) would keep the panels in place preventing the bag from collapsing. Does that make sense? I don't know if it would increase your costs very much. Just a bit more fabric and another couple of steps in the sewing.
I am interested in how things are constructed since I am a seamstress myself. I have a website of completely unrelated products that are for women (www.PrettyPads.com). I'm also interested in websites since I have my own. Yours is very good!
I'd love to product test for you if you should ever need me. I'm sure you get many offers for product testers! I have one 9lb dog (Maltese) and my Yorkie who I expect to be about 5 1/2 lbs. I'm located in upstate New York. I take my dogs everywhere I can. I love to sneak them in restaurants and stores. hahaha I'd love to find a backpack bag where I could fit both of the dogs in one bag. Maybe a center divider in a Medium sized bag, or a center divider in a wider version of the Small bag. Hmmmm...
Sorry this ended up being so long! I'd love it if you could answer my few questions I asked at the beginning.
Best of luck with your business! Your products look fabulous!

Thank you very much for all the feedback, suggestions, and kind thoughts. I am waiting for the last set of snap buttons (which seems to hold well but you need to match the position nicely to snap them on). The fixed positions of the snap buttons have enabled a "tension" on the fabric and create the arched roof support. I will explore the possibility of your fabric pocket/channel idea if that doesn't work. Thank you very much. I have considered the turning stud but when I use the carrier as a backpack, one of the stud positions will be right on my back. It is uncomfortable for the user. With a lot of movement, the stud may turned unintentionally. As such, you don't see the turning stud in any of the outdoor backpack/camping
gear. It is not secure enough for the purpose.
Most customers who sent us a comment found Celltei Pak-o-Pet even nicer than the picture shown in the site. I hope that you will find the same. For Trixie Belle, the small size will be perfect. Unzhizhi is about six pounds
and she is totally comfortable in a small carrier. She could fit into the new x-small size but her movement in it is more restrictive. It may be okay for a short trip but I think a small size will be more appropriate. The
x-small size doesn't have the backpack strap. It is a pocket-book / purse design with long handle and shoulder strap only. There is a flat zipper pocket in the back for the owner to store her own items. We will add the
Classic black color in x-small size in the new production scheduled to be here in Ocotber.
Right now, the design of the Classic and Active is the same but as we move along, the Active line will be more outdoor-oriented with more focus on extended periods of carrying the pets and perhaps heavier pets. Many
small/medium size dogs can't walk for too long and yet the owner (like me) would love to include them in our day hike and more outdoor activities.
You are the second person who suggested a divider for a larger carrier that can fit two dogs. There should be more merit/demand to the idea. By the end of this month, I should have "disposed" of the other business and focus
on the pet business. I have the two sewing machines my father left me set up and be more hands-on to making prototypes and perhaps some custom-jobs for customers.
You have a very unique website! You offer interesting products I wouldn't think of!
Thanks again for all your comments and suggestions.
With best regards,
Angie Y. (and Unzhizhi)
